The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit relief organization, providing access to more than 190,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families across a 13-county service area. In our last fiscal year, NTFB and our feeding network provided access to almost 72 million meals.
There are many reasons why people become homeless. Sometimes it's because of bad decisions that spiral out of control. Others end up on the streets because of factors beyond their control. Mental illness and domestic violence are two major culprits. Housing Crisis Center works to put those who can take care of themselves back on the road to self-sufficiency.
Focus is God, the bible and supporting each other. We pray together, laugh together, cry together. We are a non-denominational bible study group. Regardless whether you are a church goer or non church goer we are here to support our girlfriends in Christ.
The Young Marines is a youth program in the United States and Japan open to all youth between the ages of 8 to 18 or completion of high school. To promote the mental, moral and physical development in its members the principles of honesty, fairness, courage, respect, loyalty, dependability, attention to duty and fidelity to the United States and its institutions.
The story of Dallas LIFE starts with a man named Reverend Robert J. Key, one of the founders of the Union Gospel Mission in 1949. With Dallas' homeless population growing in the post war years, Reverend Key left UGM to begin establishing the Dallas Rescue Mission. It was this endeavor that would become Dallas LIFE, now the largest homeless shelter in North Texas.
This season, you can help the Dallas County Sheriff's Posse provide much needed assistance to local school children. We will once again be hosting our annual Shop with a Sheriff Holiday Shopping Tour. This is a unique program that allows local school children to shop on their own, to buy gifts for themselves and their family.
Designated a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2003, KW Cares raises money through Keller Williams market centers and regional offices in order to provide emergency financial assistance to members of the KW family in need through its grants program, and to support other board-designated charities and causes aligned with the mission and values of Keller Williams Realty and KW Cares.
